There has always been something more to the web than maximizing exposure and retention. It's a place to meet new people, get out of your comfort zone, and partake in a age-old tradition of sharing.
In an era of algorithmically curated content I still aim to keep my curiosity and will to create alive. To encourage exploration and curiosity I am offering this: My selection of links.
Break the dopamine-gilded shackles the wretched lords have cast upon us!
Let us step forth into an era where we once again control the destiny of our time and will!
I have a lot of hobbies and interests, more than I'm usually able to keep track of.

There is an old christmas tradition from southeastern Scania that is unheard of among the younger folks, despite being practised by those of just a couple generations past. It would go something like this...
Those young or playful would find a comically worthless present - say a piece of firewood - enscribe it with yuletide blessings or less couth message if mischivious, and optionally wrap it as a gift. The bearer would run up to a neighbours house, open the door and chuck the present into the hall. With haste, the person would run off unseen.
Hopefully the neighbour would be surprised - yet delighted - by this mischief. One wishes the neighbour then would continue the act by delivering the present to another neighbour, maybe having added a message of their own.
A new romantic era
I think instead of the late industrial revolution, this is the reaction to how the western world has worked since around the 80s
My thoughts were that people will simply become tired of how cold, cheap, and shallow the world has gotten
Also: why isn't there really any utopian fiction anymore? Where are the kinda stories where stuff just kinda goes well? I'm tired of stories that are negative just because they have to. There's nothing to be solved, usually it's just the most contrived stuff that people fight about or it's just a "society bad" plot. I'm especially tired of the damn "miscommunication plot" that every damn movie has to have
Like am I weird for wanting stories that go well, where stuff is just sorted out. There doesn't need to be conflict to make a meaningful story.

Houses are trees
I kinda wanna write down my ideas about architecture, mainly the thing about stability
I made the realisation when I saw a building which was walled with windows on the first floor, so it kinda looked like the building was standing on glass
I think there's something subconcious about not wanting to be near unstable structures
I think a lot of skyscrapers avoid this by kinda reminding us of trees
A personal opinion (that I think others can agree on) is that buildings with overhangs close to the bottom floor also causes discomfort.
